May 4th First Performance and Event

Sunday, May 4th, The Oxford Grange, Oxford CT

We are hosting our first preview performance of “If We Really Were Witches” on May 4th, 2025, at The Oxford Grange in Connecticut.

6:00 PM: Donor Appreciation Event. Join the witch hunt: Who among us is a witch? Accuse your friends! Blame your mother! Come dressed as your favorite witch and you might win a prize! Have some snacks and visit our silent auction to support local women’s businesses and help us raise money to get to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

7:30 PM: The first ever live performance of “If We Really Were Witches”! The town of Newtown is caught up in the witch hunting craze. The Pricks of Puritanical Piety Guild and Social Club uses all the most modern sciences to test for witchcraft, especially witch “pricking”– poking a victim’s mole with a needle to see if they bleed. (This was a real thing.) A visiting ghost observes her descendant in danger of sharing her fate– to be accused and hanged as a witch. Determined not to let that happen, she summons three real witches, Mildred, Agnes and Suds, through time and space.

Once the real witches arrive in town, the balance of power changes just a bit…

To secure your ticket, we’re asking for a $20 donation per person made through our fiscal sponsor, Fractured Atlas. An e-mail with a confirmation will be sent out shortly after:
